Overview

A pilot built for Bowen University to capture student resumption at campus entry points. It worked more like a shared clock-in device operated at the gate than a student-facing access-control app, and grew from ideas explored in the earlier attendance prototype.

Architecture

PHP REST API — Student lookup, check-in capture, and movement-record storage
Android App — Security-operated interface for recording student arrival

Purpose

The goal was to replace manual resumption recording with a searchable digital workflow. Campus security staff tested the pilot; QR verification and location capture were not part of the implemented scope.
